The transition from home to Kindergarten can be a time of both stress and excitement for both students and parents. With this in mind the "Bus Buddies" Committee targets parents of students who will be entering kindergarten in September of 2011. The Bus Buddy Committee hopes to ease the stress of riding the school bus for the first time by pairing Bus Buddies (4th and 5th grade students) with Kindergarten students as they ride the bus to and from school. A friendly face who can answer questions and head your child in the right direction can make the first few days in a new school seem easier.
